How Time Flies: Taming Malice, Work Woes, and Adventures in Freelance
It has been a month of ups and downs, my lovelies
So I have been struggling a little bit this fall since being between my Code Monkey jobs. It’s a bit scary and unknown for me. Usually I tend to focus on the fun and light-hearted things, such as kiddo conquering a brand new park we discovered next to a lake.
But unfortunately, being between jobs is stressful and my focus, like it has been the entire year, tanks. I’m taking a few steps to fix this lack of focus since…well I have a lot of free time! So taking time to review technology stacks and doing some coding practice for an hour a day, as well as doing some coding freelance and making new covers.
In fact I’m looking at selling some book covers since it is something I enjoy doing and I think I’m not so bad at it. So…in the wise words of a fantastic villain:
