I don’t have much for you this week, even though I’m late!
I do have a new trailer out for Curse of Dawn for you. Having fun experimenting with generating videos and creating some whimsy to promote my Gothic Magical Realism fairytale.
Also, here is a teaser for you!
The sin of Pride was *not* a masochist.
So why the fuck was he there, leaning against the wall? Perhaps it was the rare moment of weakness that kept him trapped, glued to the thudding structure. A momentary curiosity that his Pride could not withstand.
Normally, he would ignore the screams and roars that were barely contained within the Master Wing. The late nights he returned from patrol would be spent in the parlor, enjoying an overfilled tumbler of whiskey, or straight in his own room, crashing on the bed to regain whatever energy his non-powered body needed. Ever since the *stray* was adopted, Darrion made it his mission to avoid it at night; like everyone else should.
Except for that fucking dog.
...So why was he here? Listening to the most mournful wails he ever heard. To the sobbing rampage of the one person he ever bowed to? His shoulders tensed, his arms crossed tightly over his chest.
Surely it was because he could also hear the whimpers and yelps from that twinky bitch brat. So he could feed the scraps of a beaten, broken mutt to the tiny sadist deep inside of him. His chest tightened, a lump in his throat as Ira cried out again, a hoarse cacophony of fear and rage.
So, I guess I did have stuff for you!
Featured Book
Charles Carter. The guy next door with global political ambitions.
Few things about Charles… He is charming. He is the "boy next door." He is absolutely ruthless, behind closed doors.
His PR team told him he must have a wife if he wants to accelerate his political career. Charles Carter is everything I was warned about. Under his perfect facade lies a man who thrives on control, manipulation, and darkness. I was chosen to be his “perfect wife,” the woman to complete his public image. But from the moment we met, he made it clear: he would take more than my hand—he would take all of me. But I’m not the fragile doll he thinks I am. I have my own secrets. Secrets that are far darker than the games he plays.
He tries to break me, to test my limits. Yet, with every cruel touch, I find myself drawn to him. He’s cold, controlling, and possessive. But I can’t deny the fire he ignites in me—or the temptation to give in to his demands. When a blackmailer threatens to expose my past, Charles digs deeper, unearthing the truth I’ve fought to keep hidden. Now, I stand at a crossroads. And Charles also has secret. Deep. Dark. Secrets.
Do I trust the man who could destroy me to protect my secret? Or do I run from the husband who already owns my body—and maybe even my heart?
